This Privacy Policy explains how Pantrix ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use our mobile application ("Pantrix" or the "App").

By using Pantrix, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

• Account information: name, email address, and password if you create an account.
• Ingredient and recipe inputs: ingredients, dietary preferences, allergies, and other details you enter to generate recipe suggestions.
• Feedback: information you provide through support requests, surveys, or reviews.

• Usage data: pages/screens viewed, features used, recipes generated or saved, and interaction timestamps.
• Device information: device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
• Advertising identifiers: for users on the free, ad-supported tier, we (and our advertising partners) may collect advertising IDs (e.g., IDFA, AAID) to serve and measure ads.
• Log data: IP address, crash reports, and diagnostic information.

• App store data: purchase and subscription status information from Apple App Store or Google Play when you subscribe to our ad-free tier.
• Affiliate and analytics partners: aggregated or anonymized data from partners we work with for affiliate marketing and product analytics.

We use the information we collect to:

• Generate personalized recipe suggestions based on the ingredients you provide.
• Operate, maintain, and improve the App.
• Process subscription payments (handled by the applicable app store; we do not directly store your payment card details).
• Serve advertisements to free-tier users and measure ad performance.
• Facilitate affiliate marketing, including tracking purchases made through affiliate links (e.g., links to grocery or ingredient retailers) so we may earn a commission.
• Communicate with you about updates, support requests, or promotional offers (where permitted).
• Monitor usage trends and improve app performance and user experience.
• Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or abuse.

• Free tier: If you use the free, ad-supported version of Pantrix, third-party advertising networks may collect and use device and usage data to show you relevant ads. You may opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings (e.g., "Limit Ad Tracking" or "Opt out of Ads Personalization").
• Ad-free subscription: Subscribing removes in-app advertising. Subscription billing is managed by Apple App Store or Google Play in accordance with their respective privacy and payment terms.
• Affiliate links: Pantrix may include links to third-party retailers or products. If you click these links and make a purchase, we may earn a commission. We do not control and are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party sites.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

• Service providers: hosting, analytics, customer support, and payment processing vendors who help us operate the App.
• Advertising and affiliate partners: as described above, primarily using device/advertising identifiers and aggregated usage data.
• App store platforms: Apple and Google, for purposes of processing purchases and subscriptions.
• Legal and safety purposes: if required by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Pantrix, our users, or others.
• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App's services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Section 7).

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you.
• Object to or restrict certain processing of your information.
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
• Opt out of personalized advertising via your device settings.
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format.

California residents have the right to know, delete, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information (including via advertising identifiers), and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights.

Pantrix is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

Your information may be processed or stored in countries other than your own, including Australia and other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. We take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.

Pantrix may contain links to third-party websites, retailers, or services (including affiliate links). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy within the App or via email, and updating the "Last Updated" date above.
